The City of Garland is proposing improvements to Shiloh Road from Kingsley Road to Miller Road.
As part of the 2019 Bond Program, voters approved improvements to several roadways within Garland to help alleviate traffic congestion and improve mobility. One of the roadway projects is the reconstruction of Shiloh Road (between Kingsley Road and Miller Road) from a four-lane divided thoroughfare to a six-lane divided thoroughfare. The total length of the proposed project is approximately 1.08 miles, and the proposed project would require approximately 2.0 acres of additional new right-of-way, approximately 1.4 acres of utility easements, and approximately 0.8 acres of temporary construction easements.

All comments must be postmarked or received by Friday, Sept. 8, 2023. Responses to general project questions and comments received will be available online once they have been prepared.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been, carried-out by TxDOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of Understanding dated Dec. 9, 2019, and executed by FHWA and TxDOT.
