ABOUT THE ARTIST
A native Texan, Paula was born in Houston and received a BFA in Studio Art from the University of Texas. She currently resides in the Dallas area. Paula began her career in illustration and graphic design, working for corporate, retail, and publishing clients. In 2001, she determined to focus her attention on becoming a full-time professional artist. Many of her works focus on Texas and Southwest landscapes through the medium of pastel. She seeks to capture the dignity and serenity of these places.
