[ARCHIVED] Welcome to Our New Website

Welcome to our new website!

Those who make use of GarlandTX.gov are experiencing a brighter, more robust website! This redesigned site features a refreshed color palette, excellent search functionality and an improved mobile experience.

The City’s first priority in this redesign is to improve the end-user’s ability to find information. A new feature, My Garland, will allow you to type in your home or business address to see what City facilities and resources serve your area.

The City partnered with CivicPlus, the integrated technology platform for local government, to launch a mobile-responsive, highly functional website. With more than 3,500 local government clients, the power of the CivicPlus platform is in its integrated and comprehensive multi-product suite capabilities.

The new GarlandTX.gov site will allow you to subscribe to various calendar and informational updates, as well as continue to access and subscribe to receive public meeting agendas. To subscribe, click on the green “Notify Me” button on the left side of the screen. You’ll see the various sections that are subscribable, as well as a link to “City Enewsletters”. That link will take you to a subscription page specifically for the various enewsletters the City sends.

The main menu will feature a “Residents” tab to help those who live in Garland find resources and services specific to neighborhoods, green living, community amenities and more.

A “Business” tab will link to “Develop Services” resources, the Garland Economic Development Department, permitting information and other services specific to those doing business in Garland and with the City itself.

The “Government” tab will provide direct links to City Council information, as well as an alphabetical listing of City departments.

The “How Do I” tab will link to specific frequently requested services and information.

You will find unique design themes and navigation options for specific City departments, including Arts, Aquatics, Economic Development, Library, Parks & Recreation and Utility Customer Service. The departments have more complex structure and service options for their audiences. But no matter where you are the site, the City logo in the top left corner will get you back to the main City home page.
