Ablon Park Pond

January 30 - Today Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TPWD) will be stopping by today to restock the pond at Ablon Park with over 2,200 rainbow trout.  This is a special program that TPWD provides for approximately 100 Community Fishing Lakes (CFL) or Texas State Park locations each winter around the state. Harvest Regulations

• No minimum length limit
• Daily Bag = 5 trout
• An angler fishing in a CFL or from a dock, pier, or jetty within a Texas State Park may use no more than two poles.

License Requirements

• Trout anglers will need a valid fishing license that includes a freshwater fishing endorsement. 
• Anglers under 17 years of age are not required to have a license.
