In observance of Labor Day, all City of Garland offices, utility customer service and tax offices, libraries, recreation centers and senior centers will be closed Monday, Sept. 2.
Surf and Swim will remain open Aug. 31-Sept. 2 for its closing weekend.
The recycling center, transfer station and landfill will be closed Sept. 2. Regular Tuesday-Friday garbage, recycling, and brush and bulky pickup schedules will remain as normal.
