In observance of Independence Day, all City of Garland offices, utility customer service and tax offices, libraries, recreation centers and senior centers will be closed Thursday, July 4. City pools and Surf and Swim will be open during normal business hours.
There will be no disruption to trash or recycling collection July 4, and the Charles M. Hinton Jr. Regional Landfill will remain open.
